NAME: Rabbitleg ALIASES: General teasing names (i.e. - Mousebrain, etc...) SEX: Male. ORIENTATION: Straight. AGE: Twenty-nine moons. CLAN: Wind. POSITION: Young Warrior
APPEARANCE:
Rabbitleg is a slender soft brown, tabby tom with soft olive eyes. He has powerful back legs that can send him bolting in seconds and are the reason for his name sake. His back legs also give him an exceptional ability to leap into the air and attempt to fetch prey. His fur is short and almost bristle like and he often believes that it is exceptionally thin, though this is untrue (he just has trouble coping with the cold). He has the lean, but well traveled look that all WindClan cats seem to attain through their years, though Rabbitleg seems to have attained a lot more muscle in his shoulders and back legs.
This can be attributed to the time he dedicates to practicing how high he can leap. And adventuring in places he frankly shouldn't be. Rabbitleg also has a small, noticeable scar on his lip as a product of his misadventures.
For inquiring cats, Rabbitleg is not exceptionally bad looking. Though he certainly doesn't have the rough and experienced look of older warriors, he in fact has very few scars; but he does have a young and vibrant look to him. Even in the way he moves shows he is a cat full of life, energy and happiness. So much so, it could be comparable to the way a kit bounds out of their den ready to face the world each day. But it is also equally arguable that Rabbitleg has nothing exceptional about his features and is thus unremarkable. Just a standard thin, tabby tom of WindClan.
PERSONALITY:
Rabbitleg is a cat who would be far from considered normal. He has his own way of thinking through things and determining his actions. He often comes off as exceptionally daft or lost to other cats, if not downright stupid. But he is a genuine and sincere cat in what he does and says, though he has a way of coming of as rude for being blunt. Rabbitleg also has a keen interest in the unknown and things he doesn't fully understand, such as his deep rooted interest in Twolegs.
As a warrior, Rabbitleg is not very respected by most of the other warriors. His interest in Twolegs and seeming lack of aggression give the impression that he has no real interest in clan life and would be happier as a kittypet. Though this is untrue, Rabbitleg is fiercely loyal to his Clan and would die for his clanmates. Though he does not enjoy fighting and tends to do so reluctantly.
Rabbitleg has a burning frustration and anger towards his clanmates, though, since many of them don't understand him, thusly rejecting him to a degree. Many dislike him because he is so easily distracted and lenient on prey and boarder patrols, being all together too friendly with the other clans concerning these matters. And Rabbitleg personally finds she-cats to be very confusing and doesn't understand why they're so easily offended.
Basic Pros: Sincere, genuine, loyal, kind, and optimistic. Basic Cons: Tendency to wander off, hard to work with, easily distracted, rude, easily frustrated, doesn't take Clan life serious enough, and rather slow/dumb/lost.

HISTORY:
Rabbitleg was born as an excitable and healthy kit. From the moment he could walk, his mother never had a moment's rest. He was always bounding about and bothering other cats, asking them things or trying to scuffle with them. Much to many of the senior warriors' disdain. From early on, Rabbitleg showed that he loved wandering in where he shouldn't be. He was constantly trying to wander out of camp by himself, despite punishments he received for this. Often, he would sneak into the leader's den and mess up all the moss in there before being found.
Somehow, the punishments he received for these things never seemed to sway his interest in doing these things. In fact, it could be argued they strengthened his resolve for attempting to try them. Less than a moon before his apprenticeship, Rabbitleg slipped out of camp and got lost on the moor. Somehow, he managed to make his way over to the Twoleg farm and wandered around for hours in awe. As night fell, fear gripped him and he was forced to spend the night in the barn while the cats at camp searched frantically for him.
When he woke, Rabbitleg was greeted with some food a Twoleg had put out for him. He ate it eagerly, but found it lacked the distinct flavour of the food back home. But from that moment on, he saw Twolegs as less of something to fear but more of kind giants who blundered around making strange changes to the land. After eating his fill, Rabbitleg left the farm and wandered his way around until he somehow managed to find the moor again. Though he was heading towards Highstones until a patrol spotted him. He was promptly scolded then ordered back to camp with one of the warriors.
While being brought back, an eagle spotted the young kit and attempted to capture him as a meal. The eagle's talon nearly took him when the escorting warrior was able to lunge at the eagle and swiftly kill it. Due partly to luck and skill. From then on, Rabbitleg has retained a great fear of eagles but also made it his goal to bring as many back as prey as he could.
Rabbitleg's apprenticeship was no less exciting. He was apprenticed to a curt young she-cat, Emberfur, who was tasked with putting up with him. It was the general hope that she would put the rambunctious kit in line and teach him even a moderate amount of discipline. Though it is up to debate on how much she succeeded.
On their first time out of camp, Rabbitleg managed to cross the RiverClan border and fall promptly into the fast flowing water. He was rescued by a RiverClan warrior, though the situation was very tense. As he got older, Rabbitleg would constantly rub other cats' fur, from his own clan or not, with his poor social skills and overall lack of full understanding for the warrior code.
From what could only be considered a miracle of StarClan, Rabbitleg was made a warrior. Though his ceremony was delayed not because of insufficient warrior skills, but the difficult time he seemed to have with being a cat of the warrior code. But it was eventually seen that he had earned his name, even if he remained awkward within his place in the clan.
After becoming a warrior, Rabbitleg began to feel increasingly outcasted in his clan. While he loved being a WindClan warrior, he was still too care free and lenient in the way he operated. He severely missed his time as an apprentice where he was not expected to uphold so much and be so strict. Rabbitleg seems to get along better with the younger cats, but retains very few good friendships with any of the warriors. His personality just clashes with most of the more serious sides of the other cats. Though Rabbitleg is completely baffled as to why the other cats seem to dislike him.
EXTRA:
Is seeking a mate, though he'll have to really bond with the cat. Someone who is willing to put up with him and go through the stages of actually getting to know him first. He won't fawn after the first she-cat who passes by. He may fall for a cat in a different clan, kitty pet, or even a rogue. He doesn't really see a problem with that kind of thing, but understands to a degree why it is considered wrong.
