ALIASES: None really, occasionally Bright or Brighty, but he doesn't really like nicknames.

APPEARANCE:

Brightheart is unusual in that he is a male Tortoiseshell. Normally and naturally this does not happen, so that makes him incredibly rare. he has pale green eyes, but not the usual pale emerald, more a pale sage colour. He looks a bit chubby, but it's partially his build and partially his thick, dense pelt. he has a dark salmon pink nose with a dark brown smudged edge around it. He is incredibly strong and good in battle, if not the very fastest, but he doesn't struggle with speed exactly. He has an unusually expressive face that shows his emotions, basically all the time; which makes it harder to lie. He has large-ish, thick ears that are rather maneuverable, and also contribute to his expressive nature. His fur is rather glossy and water resistant, nicely suited to rainy weather. Snow seems to stick to his fur a lot, however, which annoys him to no end. He always likes to be neatly presented and clean, if at all possible, so he keeps himself well maintained at all times. Even for a thunderclan tom, he is large and bulky, but he isn't particularly proud or unhappy with his stature.

PERSONALITY:

Brightheart is just as his name implies; pure and kind of heart, almost to a fault. His heart is easy to win, and he is a very caring and loyal friend, but he is far too kind to other's sometimes. He is a very strong fighter, and he beats his nervousness by going into his own space. Overall he is a very caring and gentle cat, but he still has a temper and he does, on occasion, get angry. He will take endless bullshit, and teasing, and will bear with it for a very long time without doing anything, but if any trouble is caused to his friends or the clan in general, he will go nuts.
He tries to give everybody a second chance, no matter what they've done, but he doesn't always succeed, he isn't supercat. Brightheart has a great deal of faith in others, cats from all clans included. His personality sort of varies depending on the weather, his mood, who he's talking to, etcetera etcetera. He tries to distance himself from other clans, but he gets on with most fairly easily, and he finds it difficult sometimes to see the point in fighting about territories and patrolling and having wars all the time.
Some people think of him as frivolous, but in reality he's just trying to have all the fun he can in this serious world. He can sometimes come across badly, but he's actually really friendly and caring, he can just be awkward and a little socially inept.

FEARS:

Now Brightheart is by no means a weak cat, but he is terrified of owls. The merest sight of an owl will make him freeze with fear. He was almost killed and eaten by one when he was a kit, and was saved by two of the clans bravest warriors. He isn't exactly scared of the Thunderpath, more like he freaks out about it. he always gets overly safety conscious when it come to crossing it or going near it.

ASPIRATIONS:

To be the best deputy the clan has ever seen and follow the leader as dedicatedly as he can, to overcome his fears, and to become a mentor. Also to become a father.

HISTORY:

Brightheart was the most energetic kit in his litter when he was born, mewling loudly and exploring from the start. As he grew up he was picked on my the other kits as a "freak" for his fur colour, since it is practically unknown for a tom to be a mix-fur. The elders fantasized it was an omen, which of course it wasn't. He still had plenty of friends, but it used to bother him a lot, there was always a nagging feeling at the back of his mind. But over the moons he proved himself an asset to the clan, he brought back much prey during greenleaf, and kept the medicine cat's stores up in leafbare, he practically worked himself to the bone. He was granted being a warrior quite early, as he was desperate to be of use in the clan, to prove his usefulness.

The clan had trouble with a small group of three dogs loose in the forest not long after he was made into a warrior, and he fought bravely. He was badly wounded during that fight, but he saved the life of his tormentor, Cloudheart, and they became close friends. They shared everything with each other, and she deeply regretted taunting him as a bad omen. Six moons later she was killed on the thunderpath. This crushed Brightheart completely, and he was all but useful for many weeks. She had been expecting their kit. The worst thing was, it was completely unexpected. Despite all this, he is still a kind, bright, giving cat, and loves life. this happened a fair few moons ago now.

ATTRIBUTES:

His number one goal in life is to be as useful to the clan as he physically and mentally can, and to be the kindest he can. I think he'd be good as the deputy because he's and honest,eager to please cat, but still has strength and dedication and his own morals.

Like I said before, he wants to help the clan and be useful, and he wants to be the best deputy possible
